The Cych valley...

Not a brilliant photograph - sorry - but all the water you can see is not normally there. This is looking from The Mill across the valley towards the ford. Just beyond the nearest bushes is the maize field that is between us and the river. Running across the centre of the picture from left to right is the bank bounding the road that goes down to the ford. Beyond that is another maize field, also flooded.

The road was completely under water at lunchtime, and water was flowing across it at 5 or 6 miles an hour, trying to drain towards the left (north) towards the Teifi.
