Nah, pull the other one....
The minor road from here to Llechryd
drops down to the valley floor via a hairpin bend (which is where
I parked to take this shot), then is a low-lying stretch of road
to Llechryd. It's one of the first around here to get flooded. Beyond
the house on the right, at a level maybe 3 or 4 feet higher, is
the old 14th century Manordeifi church, about 2 miles from here.
There is a coracle kept in the church, in case of flood. Although
the church is apparently well above the river level - it must be
a good 15 to 20 ft above - it is prone to occasional floods. The
water still has a way to go before it gets into the church, but
it's already into the cemetery.
